The People
The people just keep
standing,
and they're looking for
a vision.
They wouldn't even
know one
if it came.
They are crying out
to heaven,
but they only hear
an echo.
The mountains turn
Their empty words
away.

Place Yourself
A lost love cries,
a little girl dies.
Her freedom flies
and it's in your eyes.
You're only looking
for your self now,
she is wanting
to change your mind.
You just laughing
watch her passing,
as you stumble
up the line.
What will you do
when you face yourself?
Will you be through
when you place yourself?

Politicians
Politicians they all lip it,
Yea..., they don't know the words.
Listen to them singing, Now....
Don't they all sound absurd?

An astute writer once advised all readers: "If you are reading and come upon a word which you do not know the meaning of, immediately, go to the dictionary and find out. Else you might well miss the single most important message in the book!"
I believe this advice could indeed apply to every aspect of our lives.
